What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mechanic Technician at Kimmco, you’ll play a key role in preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment essential to the rockwool manufacturing process.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing maintenance on heavy industrial systems: melting furnaces, conveyor lines, ovens, spinners, pumps, and gearboxes
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues to reduce equipment downtime
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to maintain continuous plant operations
- Following safety protocols and maintenance procedures
- Keeping accurate documentation of all maintenance activities (SAP experience is a plus)
- Mentoring junior mechanics and helping develop team capabilities
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in heavy industrial or rockwool manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience working in high-temperature or continuous process environments is preferred
